Hello everyone
I'm home now and feeling good. The op went well, for those of you who didn't know I had a triple arthrosesis on hind foot, they did a bone graft and they streghtened my achilles tendon. I had a bit of a rough first week, with a lot of sickness, but I think that was down to the meds.
I'm just glad it's over and I'm on the recovery road. I have to be non weight bearing for at least 6 weeks. ( I chose a lovely pink cast ) Smile My family and friends have been brilliant so I am so thankful to them.
Hope everyone else here is well and I will keep you all posted how I'm doing. Thankyou for all your wishes, it means so much.

Hi Kelly,

glad that the ordeal of the op is over and that you are now into recovery. Shame that the weather is so awful as you could have at least sat in the garden.

Take care,

Eleanor x

Good to hear from you,Kelly, oh wow i hope i get a choice of colours for my cast, purple or pink for me, i have been told that my surgeon may not put a cast on for the first 2wks.

Enjoy a good rest, take it easy, have you got some one to drive you to garden centres etc they all have wheelchairs if needed.
best of luck for the future, please let me know how your are getting on, as i am going to be next with the fusion opp.
